கண்ணோட்டத் துள்ளது உலகியல் அஃதிலார்
உண்மை நிலக்குப் பொறை.

World lives by looks of lovely worth Who lack them are burdens of earth
— The world goes on its wonted way, since grace benign is there;All other men are burthen for the earth to bear
கண்ணோட்டத்தினால் உலகியல் நடைபெறுகின்றது, கண்ணோட்டம் இல்லாதவர் உயிரோடு இருத்தல் நிலத்திற்குச் சுமையே தவிர வேறு பயனில்லை.
மக்கள் வாழ்க்கை கண்ணோட்டத்தால்தான் இயங்குகின்றது அக்கண்ணோட்டம் இல்லாதவர் வாழ்வது இப்பூமிக்கு பாரமே.
அன்புடன் அரவணைத்து இரக்கம் காட்டும் கண்ணோட்டம் எனப்படும் உலகியலுக்கு, மாறாக இருப்பவர்கள் இந்தப் பூமிக்குச் சுமையாவார்கள்
