PSLE Tamil revision goes better on paper. A printed page can be read aloud, written on and pinned up at home. So we’ve turned five of our most-used resources into free A4 PDFs, ready to print.
Here is what each one covers, and when to use it.
PSLE Tamil Revision Kit
A revision guide for all four PSLE Tamil papers: composition, oral, listening comprehension and Paper 2. It also has a ten-week revision planner.
Use it first. Print the planner, pin it up, and plan the weeks to the exam around it.
PSLE Tamil Composition Phrases (இனிய தொடர்கள்)
195 composition phrases, grouped into illustrated themes. Each phrase is printed in Tamil with its English meaning beneath, and the word that makes it vivid is highlighted.
Use it for composition. Take one theme a week, read the phrases aloud together, and keep a shortlist of favourites ready for the next composition. You can also watch the phrases as short films on our YouTube channel.
PSLE Tamil Vocabulary List
All the words from our 50 Tamil vocabulary cards, on paper. Each card has a QR code to its video, so your child can hear every word read aloud.
Use it for oral. A theme a day builds the words a child needs to talk about a picture or video.
PSLE Tamil Oli Verupaadu List
133 sets of sound-alike words in four groups, including ல/ள/ழ, ன/ண and ர/ற. In each set, the letter that differs is coloured and the English meaning is printed beneath every word.
Use it for spelling and Paper 2. Cover the English, say each word aloud, and test yourself. New to oli verupaadu? Read our guide: Oli Verupaadu: Tamil Sound-Alike Letters Explained.
Tamil Vocabulary Worksheets
For each of 36 everyday themes, there’s a labelled picture poster and a matching worksheet.
Use it with younger children. Put the poster up, talk about it, then do the worksheet together.
